For the sake of this post, however, I chucked all of those ideas away and walked around for an hour and a half trying to figure out this Pokemon craze.
The Pokemon card game is really popular with children. So we can speak of a baseball player as a robot (pitches this speedy, had this many hits, weighs this much, is this tall, etc.) and trade cards. Likewise, we get the stats on a Pokemon, and it is rather like a robot. But that is not so in the imagination. In the imagination it's something alive. I do not comprehend how folks don't get bored with it after a few minutes and how they get so enthusiastic about comical-looking characters on an app. I do not comprehend why anyone would spend time on something ridiculous like Pokemon Go. That being said, it's not my place to tell the world to stop doing what they love. If you desire to play, then play.
