Virtually everybody you speak to gives you meta-game guidance about Pokemon or Pokemon-related services. They aren't folks; they are an extended tutorial delivery service. The folks in Yo-Kai Watch, on the other hand, have distinct personalities and problems which you can pick to help them with. Frequently these difficulties can be solved by summoning or dispelling a Yo Kai, but they do not understand that. They merely understand their worker is inexplicably late for work, they lost an important plaything, or they don't understand how to ask out the target of their affection. In other words, you can see them as actual people with interests unrelated to you and your quest. I'd love to see more of that from.
Hanke noted that this doesn't mean the game will automatically receive important features with each upgrade, but Niantic is consecrated to consistently working on and enhancing the game.
